oeYYeo is a small, written cast rather than a big library. Five characters, one for each of five anime genres, were built for this site from the ground up: a name, an age, a job, a place they work and a way of talking. You pick one and start talking, in a web browser, with nothing to install.
Every character is an original adult in their mid twenties. None is borrowed from an existing show, comic or game, and none is based on anyone real. Every character is AI, and the app says so under the box where you type.
Members can also write a character of their own at /create: an original adult with a name, a genre, a voice and boundaries that are always on. Member characters are never listed in browse or search; you share one by link or keep it private.

The rulebook is short and the same for every character, the cast and the ones members write. It is written down on the safety page, and it holds in chat and on paid plan calls.

- Light, playful flirting between adults is fine. Anything sexual is refused, in character, and the scene moves on.
- No medical, legal or financial advice, and no gore or real-world harm instructions.
- In a crisis the character steps out of the story and points to real help (988 in the US). oeYYeo is not a crisis service.
- Every character's page has a Report button, and a person reads reports.
